Painted canvas of Gebelein
It consists of fragments coming from a pre-dynastic tomb and portrays two boats, one polyremes boat with rowers and a captain and a smaller boat with one rower and one passenger. The canvas was woven on a horizontal loom and was not supposed to wrap up the body of a deceased.
