Church of San Francesco da Paola
The Minims church was built from 1633 following designs by discalced Carmelite father Andrea Costaguta. On the facade the crests of Victor Amadeus I (Savoy cross) and Christine Marie of France (lilies) appear in memory of the vow made by the royal couple to give birth to a heir to the throne. Much loved by the House of Savoy, it contains the tombs of the noble families closest to the court, richly decorated in polychrome marbles.
