The royal gardens are bordered by the Mint Canal and by the “quay”, the entrance point. Trivia: here used to stand one of the oldest centres of the business and marine activity of the city, with its offices and public granaries. The royal gardens, a green area that can be admired from the Grand Canal, are a place of tranquillity and landscape beauty, also thanks to the walkways covered by latticework of creepers. We recommend a visit of the Coffee House, the domed pavilion designed by architect Lorenzo Santi.
