Bergamo - Thanks to the project "Capolavori Ambasciatori", some works of the Accademia Carrara of Bergamo will be exhibited in prestigious museums of the territory from Sunday, June 15th, 2014.
After an international tour, which brought some paintings at the Metropolitan Museum in New York and, most recently, at the Pushkin Museum in Moscow, also museums and institutions nearby are establishing partnerships, aimed at creating an interesting dialogue with their collections.

While on the one hand Gamec will host some masterpieces restored in "Riscoprire la Carrara" until July 27th, on the other hand twelve works, including sculptures and paintings, will be displayed in six museums in the province of Bergamo and Brescia.
The curator of the project, Giovanni Valagussa, highlighted the intention of the Carrara to create a new relationship with the territory, after some successful experiences tested in the past.

Among the works that will be exhibited in the territory, two portraits by Giovan Battista Moroni will arrive at the Museo Arte Tempo of Clusone. The Museo Civico d'Arte del Territorio Gianni Bellini of Sarnico instead will host two works by John Carnovali, also known as Piccio,  while two Frà Galgario will go to the Museo Lechi di Montichiari.
