Cagliari - The Archaeological Museum of Cagliari is the winner of the "Culture without obstacles" award, an online public consultation launched by the General Directorate on June 6th-20th, 2014 to promote of Cultural Heritage of the MiBACT.

The Sardinian museum received the highest rate among the 17 institutions, and received nearly 19,000 votes, thanks to an effective campaign launched in the region.
With this recognition, it can now access fundings for a pilot project of sensory and physical accessibility, which could become a benchmark, both in Italy and abroad.

Among the most popular museums there were, from North to South, the Miramare Castle in Trieste, the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche in Urbino and the National Archaeological Museum of Naples.
Additional forms of financing are now intended even for these institutions, in order to ensure the largest number of accessibility paths.
